@FigCharlie you have to learn how to modulate your communication styles. Obviously, you wouldn't speak to a general person or a newbie about dev topics as you would with a senior dev. The best way to do this is to remember that you need to frame your message for your audience. The good news is that a senior dev will have a better trained ear than you will have expressed, however they are not mind readers. Truly, the best way to learn and adapt is to learn the lexicon, which you will learn as you progress in your development career. As is also mentioned in several blogs, articles, and posts, the more you inundate yourself with the jargon and lingo, the more familiar you will be with expressing it. Does that make sense?
