Oh, why am I even bothering learning this stuff? Because I love learning new things AND I'm trying to inspire my 10-year-old daughter (only child) to learn more about coding and tech. She's a natural math genius (much more than I ever was), so I feel it would be a shame if she didn't learn some practical applications for the analytical reasoning portion of her brain.
Finally, let me say that I have tremendous respect for all of you out there. I firmly believe that coding is the art form of the future, and there are very few exercises for the brain which are better. It combines creativity, logic and memory in a way that almost no other discipline does, PLUS, in the future, when robots start replacing professionals like myself, it will be the coders who will still have marketable skills. After all, who's going to program all of those robots?
