Hi, I've shown my brother a bit how to code roughly 1-2 years ago, but he never got really interested in it. He likes Lego and math so I figured he'd enjoy it as well, but he has big ideas which are just too difficult to implement in the beginning and than he looses interest. I asked 2,5 weeks ago about some Arduino tasks for him, as he is finished with the booklet, but doesn't know what to do next: Arduino for (slightly advanced) Beginners
He did some of the HTML and JS courses on http://www.codecademy.com/ but also didn't really stick to it. At least, he very much improved his English, as it's not our native language.
However one thing I've managed to achieve - he's using Ubuntu for the last 1,5 years and is happier with it than ever before with Windows He switched in the meanwhile to elementary OS and back to Ubuntu and set up everything himself. He's mostly playing minecraft which works fine in Linux so that's not a big hurdle, but at least he learned something.
So if you know anything how to motivate him, I'd also appreciate the tips.
